(36) pieces represented the experiments of artists in dance, photography, film, sculpture, poetry, video, graphic design and holography.

The exhibition introduced the grant recipients of the 1978 Cabin Creek Work and Environmental Studies Artist-in-Residence Program, funded by the NY State Council on the Arts. Included was "The Wave", by dancer and filmmaker Amy Greenfield and holographic landscapes by Sam Moree and Dan Schweitzer. The exhibition also included the first showing of the spectacular "Twelve Millowatt Boogie," by Rudi Berkhout, that demonstrated his historic recent success in color control.
